You're trusting us with memories of someone you loved. We collect as little as we can, use it only to make and keep your song, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in and we can tell you when your song is ready.
- Your answers to our questions: your pet's name, what they were like, your memories, and the kind of music you'd like.
- Your song: the lyrics, any changes you asked for, and the recording.
- A photo, if you add one. We remove location and camera details when you upload it.
- Messages you send us through "Need help?" or by email.
- Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store them.
- Basic technical records such as IP addresses and the pages requested, which our servers keep for a short time to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
To write and record your song, show it to you (and to anyone you share it with), email you about it, help you when you ask, and keep the site working and safe from abuse. That's all.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or use your memories to train AI models. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Who else sees it
We use a few services to run the site. Each gets only what it needs:
- Anthropic receives your answers to write the lyrics. It doesn't receive your email or photo.
- ElevenLabs receives the lyrics and a description of the music to record the song.
- Postmark sends our emails, so it handles your email address and the messages we send you.
- Stripe handles payment.
- Cloudflare carries traffic between you and our servers.
A person on our team may read your answers and lyrics and listen to your song, to check its quality or when you ask for help. If the law requires us to share information, we will, but only what's required.
Sharing your song
Your song's page is private until you share it. Once shared, anyone with the link can hear the song, read the lyrics and see the photo. Your answers, your notes to us and your email address are never shown. Shared pages ask search engines not to list them. Make the page private again and the link stops working.
Cookies and storage
We use cookies and your browser's storage only for what the site needs to work, like keeping you signed in, protecting forms and remembering your player settings. That's all; nothing here tracks you across other sites.
How long we keep it
Your songs stay in your account until you delete it, so you can come back to them. If you start a song but never sign in, we delete those answers after a day. Payment records may be kept longer where tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with. Deleting your account removes your songs, so download any you want to keep first.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use what you've already told us, we'll email you first.
